Hey guys, we are still hard at work on Stars Beyond Reach, and as the forumites know there have been a number of update posts there. I’ll be sure to do a bigger blog post sometime soon.
That said, this particular post is about some server stuff that we’re working on. The awesome Quinn is working on switching us over to a new host that should have vastly better performance than what we’ve been seeing lately on our current host. And we’ll be saving money, ironically, while having vastly better specs. Go figure.
Anyway, repointing DNS servers will cause some of you to seemingly have the site down for a bit, even though it’s not. And there will be some brief points where literally the site is down due to being moved at those moments. We’ll keep it as brief as possible, but thanks for your patience. Better performance awaits on the other side!
