DescriptionDefender Drones make the FPS drop to like 1fps while they are shooting their aoe blast.
I have a i5-6300hq cpu @2.30 GHz.

Also, why am I able to get 2 of them? It that's intended I feel like their AoE blast should be more randomized, not on a 20s timer and both going off at the same time. Otherwise the second one is useless. Anyway one is overpowered enough. I don't think 2 should be allowed. Lategame is still too easy on normal difficulty, especially with bullet blocking energy weapons and these drones.

Yeah, I believe that Misery is going to be limiting certain drones to only 1 per run. As you say, the Defender Drone doesn't really become much more OP through having 2 of them, that was actually the preferred behavior we chose. 2 going off at different times seems like it would've been super OP, but 2 going off at the same time only provides a bit of extra AOE coverage, so there's diminishing returns through getting more than 1. In any case, I believe that Misery has decided to limited certain drones to one per run, so that will be changing.

I'll take a look at the performance issues now, I may have to reduce the amount of shots. Thanks for the feedback!

Right, I've put in as much performance enhancing stuff as possible for next build, and also reduced the loop of bullets from 20 to 15. Hopefully this should do the trick. If not, I'll have to start looking at doing some more major surgery. I'll mark this as resolved, as I think the other issue will also be fixed by next build as I'm pretty sure Misery is going to limit the drone to only 1 per run. If the drone is still causing performance problems after next build, please let me know, and I'll look into the issue some more. Thanks!
