| Description | I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but placing my first lander revealed a certain part of the map. Then, while trying to find a suitable place for an explorer camp, there are areas I cannot place because it's too close to the lander, but one more tile away is in the fog and I can't place there either. Am I missing something? I would expect terrain to possibly alter my line of sight, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Getting a message saying I can't place an explorer camp because I haven't explored there is counter-intuitive. | ||||

I'm not sure that I follow. You can't place any buildings inside the foggy areas. You should have a green building icon anywhere you can construct. Are you basically saying that if you place the lander in certain locations, you can get it close enough to the white fog that then explorer camps become impossible on that side? Come to think of it, if that's what you mean then I think I may have observed that also. I can definitely fix that, but I want to make sure I'm understanding. Thanks! |

I can't place in the fog, but out of the fog is too close to the lander. I can actually place anywhere within a certain range of another camp. I think this kind of overlaps with another bug I reported. Number 16176 |

Thanks! * The radius revealed by the lander at the start of the game is now 7 tiles rather than 5, which means that no matter where you place it you should be able to get explorer camps on all sides of it comfortably. |
