| Description | So from my screenshot (year 3024) you can see that the Evucks in my game could absolutely dominate the tech race, but don't, except for some rare moments when they research a tech they want, but for which they lack the proper prerequisite tech. Then I get multiple "Tech researched by Evucks" annotations with exactly one month inbetween, with techs I would need to research for a year or longer. Especially the Ark and Destroyed Hydral Planet seem OP, they alone, combined with the innate tech of 5.12, are resulting in about 40 "base", not including all the Tech modifiers and other buildings. Seeing this screenshot, I think it would suffice to make only the tech modifiers multiplicative and all the modifiers from buildings and the hydral planet additive (so +2.12 instead of *3.12), as these contribute to the technical prowess and the amount of discoveries made while the techs speed up the research as such. And as I found out by calculating all the modifiers, multiple buildings do not give multiple bonuses right now. I don't know if this is WAD, but if you added the 1.16 multiplier 3 and the 1.1 multiplier 2 times, you would get 538.3, while applying it once gives the 363.7 result that matches the number calculated by the game. | ||||
