| Description | The docking change makes it impossible to complete the first mission since there is always going to be a large ship chasing you down and firing at least SOME shots at you. It seems impossible to stay clean for more than one round, much less 5. This has a huge outcome on the start of the game in terms of our ability to befriend the starting race later. | ||||

I think it should be like this: Once you touch the survey platform the mission should end just like the spacetech smugling mission. It doesnt make sense at this point that the enemy is still firing at you . |

+1 on the touch idea, although maybe with a confirmation dialog box "are you sure you want to resolve this peacefully? These guys will get even better headstart now..." |

Thanks! * Taking shield damage no longer causes your docking timer to increase -- just hull damage or the usage of abilities do. |
